Named after Malaysia’s first Prime Minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman, the five islands of the Tunku Abdul Marine Rahman Park aka TARP and their surrounding seas have long been a haven of peace and tranquility. The islands protect the natural vegetation, animals and the underwater gardens of the coral reefs that provide visitors with endless hours of enjoyment.

5 Islands under Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park – Sapi, Manukan, Gaya Mamutik and Sulug.

The marine  park is only 20 minutes by boat from Kota Kinabalu waterfront. The TARP is a major landmark of the city and famous for the it’s crystal clear waters and beautiful corals, just a stone throw away from our capital. The park s very popular for activities such as sun bathing, BBQ, diving, fishing, snorkeling, kayaking, windsurfing and recently parasailing which offers beach bums a great bird’s eye view of the city and the islands with Mt. Kinabalu as the back drop!

Tunku Abdul Rahman Park labelled as the Island Hopping Tour. A good variety of marine life can be spotted on the sandy seabed, including scorpion fish, blue-spotted rays, cuttlefish, mantis shrimps and the occasional green or hawksbill turtle.

From November to February, plankton blooms attract krill, which in turn attracts whale sharks, the world’s largest fish. Our packages offer convenient for tourist or family outing because of these Islands located next to each other.

– Pick up from city hotel and transfer to jetty for about 15 – 20 minutes boat ride to Tunku Abdul Rahman Park Islands.
– Firstly, enjoy the island hopping tour to Sapi Island.
– The next stop is at Manukan Island and enjoy your lunch.
– Final destination is Mamutik Island and transfer back to city hotel.

The ‘Raja Laut’, meaning “King of the Seas” in Malay, is a 100 foot traditional shooner.

This “modern classic” celebrates the meeting of the eastern ans western civilation on the South China Sea. Behind the traditional lines, Raja Laut is modern and practical, equipped with the latest technology.

Spacious deck area can accommodated an alfresco dinning table for fine diving or group of up to 50 people for canapes & finger food. Below deck is fully air-conditioned, with en-suite cabins for 12 passengers staying overnight, and an elegant and comfortable lounge.
