Tunku Abdul Rahman Park comprises five beautiful tropical islands:

  • Pulau Sapi
  • Pulau Manukan
  • Pulau Mamutik
  • Pulau Sulug
  • Pulau Gaya

There are many leisure activities you can do when spend the rest of the day on the beautiful island, swimming and snorkeling in the clear sea water with bluish colors, sun bathing on the white sandy beach while gazing at the beautiful blue sky. Enjoy a sumptuous lunch served on the beach with the soothing sounds of the waves. Sea ​​sports are also offered on your own cost as an option to enliven your holiday on the island.

Sapi Island
Relatively one of the most popular islands in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park and it is second smallest island. Among the five islands, Sapi Island ranks top as a snorkeling site. You even can see Nemo and corals easily!

Manukan Island
The most frequented island by local and foreigner. It is the second largest island in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park and has a long stretch of white sandy beaches. Not only that, Manukan Island is also considered a very convenient island due to Manukan Island has the most developed facilities such as accommodation, restaurants, souvenir shop, convenience store, shower room, toilet and water sport activities.

 

Mamutik Island
The smallest island of Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park and located opposite to Manukan Island. Less crowded island and suitable for someone that prefer quiet beach for chill and relax. Offered clear crystal water and it is good for swimming and snorkeling activities.

Sulug Island
The least visited island and known as uninhabited island. Sulug Island has beautiful dive spots, less people and more time to explore and enjoy the underwater adventure. The island located at the southernmost tip of the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park, and furthest from the Kota Kinabalu city coastline. The island is completely has no development.

Gaya Island
The largest of five islands in the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park. The island surrounded by coral reefs, sandy beaches, and rainforest. There is hiking trails about 20KM over to explore and Marine Ecology Research Center serves as an education and research facility as well as rehabilitation and breeding centre for giant clams, coral and many fish species. Gaya Island has a good spot for underwater adventure, diving and snorkeling.
