Itinerary:

DAY 1 – Sandakan Town / Turtle Island (Lunch / Dinner)

Meet at Sandakan Airport upon arrival from Kota Kinabalu. Transfer to jetty for 1 hour boat ride to Selingan Island. Check in at Chalet and lunch at Selingan cafeteria. Free and leisure. Guest allow to swim or snorkel around the island. After a delicious dinner, wait for Sabah Park Ranger’s signal before proceed in a small group to the turtle egg-laying site to witness the mother turtle laying egg, transferring of eggs to the hatchery and releasing of hatchlings to the sea. 2 species of marine turtles – the Green and Hawksbill Turtle come ashore here to lay their eggs. Overnight at chalet.

DAY 2 – Sandakan Town / Departure (Breakfast)

10.oo am – 12.00pm: Check out after breakfast and return to Sandakan Town by boat ride and proceed to Sandakan Airport for departure.

• Insect repellent, sun blocked, hat, swim wear, torch light, flip flop, binocular, camera, personal toiletries and medications.
• Snorkeling gears are available to hire (please refer to the island)
• Photographing of turtles with camera of unaided flash only

• Traveler require to book in advance for peak-season visiting due to limitation of 25 rooms on the Selingan Island.
